MRS WONG LEE ER
Founder of Advanced Language Centre
Mrs Wong Lee Er, BA (Hons), graduated from Nanyang University of Singapore is the founder of Advanced Language Centre (ALC), which has developed series of comprehensive programmes to meet the needs of students with learning difficulties in the Chinese language at different stages. |
Since 1993, she has worked with educators, school representatives, business leaders and government officials on a wide range of educational services and programmes.
- Provide Chinese enrichment programmes to schools in Singapore since 1993
- Provide MOE training programmes (staff training branch) for both primary and secondary Chinese language teachers in Singapore since 1995
- Conduct workshops and local teachers’ training programmes in Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan in Indonesia since 2002
For the past ten years, Mrs Wong has devoted her life to the education and inspiration of students to improve the quality of their lives. She is familiar with the educational system in Singapore and is involved in the programme development of Chinese software developed by ALC and language educationalists from Singapore and China.

- 'Easi-Chinese’ Word Recognition – 2005 Published
9 complete series of textbooks ranging from pinyin, stroke order, radical & side component, associative characters and picto-phonetic characters
- 'Easi-Chinese’ Multimedia Teaching Aids – 2008 Published
8 CDs comprises hanyu pinyin, basic word, radicals and word recognition with printed colorful illustrations/notes for reference and exercises
Designed and conceptualize by Mrs Wong, drawn by her considerable research and judgment, and from the experiences and wisdom of many educators, the teaching and learning aids are to help pre-schoolers and primary pupils to learn Chinese in an innovative and fun way that reduces stress in learning Chinese.
